St. Augustine Beach & The Island 

Of course we know you'll want to enjoy the beach while on your Beach Break but there is so much more to explore!  So much so, we can't list it all, BUT here are some of our favorite must-dos on The Island & at The Beach!

Connect with nature at Anastasia State Park. More than 1,600 acres of unspoiled beaches, tidal marshes, maritime hammocks and ancient sand dunes make this a captivating destination for visitors.

The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum has the best view in all of St. Augustine! From the first, wooden, watch tower in the late 1500s to the current St. Augustine Light Station, discover the importance of these aids-to-navigation.

Fresh foods, artisan goods and local art and music every Saturday from 8:30am - 12:30pm at the St. Amphitheatre.

With dozens of public beach access points peppered along the coastline, there is a bit of something for everyone. From surfing to sunbathing to stand-up paddle boarding to fishing, the endless miles of white, sandy beaches have made St. Augustine a go-to destination for water lovers and beachgoers.

This beachfront park located just south of Anastasia State Park. The Pier offers free beach access, a splash pad, a covered pavilion, restrooms, volleyball courts, free parking, and a gift shop. The pier itself can be accessed for sightseeing or fishing for a small fee. Also a great spot for photos!

A fantastic local farmers market in the oldest city of the United States! Every Wednesday year round in St. Augustine Florida at pier.

The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park is one of Florida's oldest continuously running attractions, having opened on May 20, 1893.   Offering a diverse collection of inhabitants extends beyond alligators and is the only place in the world to see all 24 species of crocodilians.

Lovingly known as The Amp, is an outdoor music venue that hosts more than 40 performances a year, welcoming music legends and rising stars across all genres. The Amp is an intimate setting with just under 5,000 seats, where, we've been told, there's no bad seat in the house!

Fort Matanzas National Monument preserves the fortified coquina watchtower, completed in 1742, which defended the southern approach to the Spanish military settlement of St. Augustine. It also protects approximately 300 acres of Florida coastal environment containing dunes, marsh, maritime forest, and associated flora and fauna, including threatened and endangered species.
